Privacy Policy

SturdyMind provides supportive check-in messaging and exercises to clients of participating healthcare practices, between their appointments, under the supervision of their own provider.

Information we collect

We process the information needed to run the service: your name as provided by your practice, your mobile phone number if you opt in to text messaging, the messages you exchange with the SturdyMind assistant, exercise responses you choose to record, and brief notes the assistant records for your provider. Providers additionally give us their account and practice details.

How we use it

Solely to provide the service: carrying on your conversation, tracking the exercises your provider assigned, and preparing the review your provider (and you) see before your next appointment. Conversations are processed by our contracted AI and messaging infrastructure providers for that purpose only. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your information for advertising.

Text messaging

Text messaging is strictly opt-in: your provider invites you, and messaging begins only after you reply YES. You can reply STOP at any time to end messaging, or HELP for assistance. Standard SMS is not an encrypted medium; for anything in-depth, the assistant moves the conversation to a private, encrypted web session.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Sharing

What your provider sees is limited and disclosed in the app: recorded exercise results, recorded observations, notifications you ask for or that safety requires, and the periodic review. The conversation itself is not shared with your provider. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the service, and as required by law or to prevent serious harm.

Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and access is limited and audited. Information is retained while your practice uses the service and as required by healthcare recordkeeping obligations; you may ask your provider to correct or delete recorded entries.
